Build Timeframe

8–10 weeks — custom 2-piece forged to order

Every set of DL18 wheels is built from scratch as a fully custom 2-piece forged wheel. The face and barrel are forged and machined separately, then permanently welded together for a seamless one-piece appearance with the strength and fitment flexibility of a multi-piece design.

Week 1

Design & Engineering

Your order specifications are reviewed by our engineering team. Custom technical drawings are created for your exact fitment including diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, and hub bore. The 2-piece split line, spoke geometry, and barrel depth are all calculated to maximize concavity for your specific application.

Week 2

CNC Programming & Setup

The finalized engineering data is translated into CNC machine code. Both components — the forged center face and the spun-forged barrel get dedicated toolpath programs. The raw 6061-T6 aluminum billets are loaded and the machines are calibrated for your specific run.

Week 3

CNC Machining / Barrel & Center Face

The forged aluminum billets are precision-cut on multi-axis CNC lathes and mills. The barrel is spun-forged for maximum strength-to-weight ratio, while the center face is machined to its final spoke design and mounting surface..

Week 4

Powder Coat & Finish QC

The completed wheel is cleaned, chemically treated, and sent to the powder coat facility. Your chosen finish is applied and each wheel undergoes finish quality control for consistency, adhesion, and surface imperfections.

Week 5

Final Machining & Assembly

After powder coat, each wheel receives its final CNC pass to machine the lip edge, valve stem bore, and hub register to exact tolerances. The mounting hardware holes are hand torqued and the wheel is prepped for quality control. Each finished wheel is weighed and compared to its spec sheet.

Week 6

QC & Balance Testing

Every wheel is mounted on a high-speed balancing machine to verify radial and lateral runout. Wheels are checked for weight distribution, concentricity, and vibration at simulated highway speeds. Any wheel that doesn't meet our strict tolerances is rejected and rebuilt.

Week 7

Final Inspection & Ship to LA

A final visual and dimensional inspection is performed on every wheel in the set. Wheels are individually wrapped in protective foam, boxed, and shipped from the factory to our Los Angeles distribution center. Tracking information is generated and sent to you at this stage.

Weeks 8 – 10

Shipping to Customer

Your wheels arrive at our LA warehouse where they receive a final check before being shipped directly to your door. Domestic orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days. International orders may take 7–14 business days depending on destination and customs processing.

Warranty Disclaimer

The warranty is voided if the wheels are re-powder coated or refinished by a third party. Any modifications made to the wheels after delivery will also void the warranty.

Wheels that have been used for track racing, drag racing, or any form of competitive motorsport are not covered under this warranty. Damage resulting from abuse, neglect, or improper installation is excluded.

Warranty coverage applies to normal street driving only.
