Installation Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the Wheel and Aero Lip
-
Confirm all components are present.
-
Ensure the wheel and aero lip surfaces are clean and free of debris.
-
Check that the rubber protector is properly seated between the wheel and aero lip.
Step 2 – Apply Bolt Adhesive
-
Use a maximum-strength threadlocker (red) on each bolt.
-
This prevents bolts from loosening over time.
Step 3 – Install Aero Lip Bolts
-
Align the aero lip with the wheel. Use Valve stem for Guidance.
-
Hand-thread all 10 bolts before tightening.
-
Tighten in a diagonal star pattern to ensure even seating.
-
Hand tools only — no drills or impact guns.
Step 4 – Final Tightening
-
Hand-tighten each bolt diagonally until snug at maximum thread engagement.
-
Do not overtighten. Once the bolt is snug, stop tightening.
-
Verify the aero lip sits flush with no gaps.
-
Re-check all bolts after 50–100 miles of driving.
Maintenance Tips
-
Clean wheels with pH-neutral cleaners only.
-
Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the rubber protector.
-
Periodically inspect bolts and rubber protector for wear.
